Seeds Not Sewn
This morning, while reading the book "Gospeler" by Willie Robertson, I read something that stuck with me. Willie spoke about how when we fail to share the gospel, we are not just failing to carry out the great commission, we could potentially be depriving many people from hearing the gospel.
After sharing the gospel with someone, there is no telling how many people they may then reach with the good news. Sharing the gospel creates a powerful chain reaction. Every individual reached has the potential to share the message and impact countless others.
I can't help but think of how many people may have heard the gospel, if only I had been bold enough to share it with people I have encountered. That fact hurts, but gives me renewed motivation to share the gospel more boldly.
I think it is important to keep this in mind as we go about our daily routines. Asking ourselves throughout each day how many people we may have the opportunity to share the good news with.
